Stream.club was a premium domain purchased for $10,000 USD from Namecheap.com. An instantly relevant keyword term ‘Stream’ with a meaningful domain extension ‘CLUB’ has definitely made the name very brandable, recognizable, and memorable. The idea rose from the co-founders Lan Paje, Paul Klein, and Jun Ho Hung during the COVID-19 lockdown, to create an alternative to Patreon for content creators.

Instead, they came up with a platform that can help creators conduct quality live streams and also manage recorded classes. They noticed amazing organic growth from yoga instructors, basketball coaches, bakers, professional knitters, and more.

With the amazing growth and great business idea, the founders have raised a pre-seed round of $2.1 million from VCs after turning down a spot in the Y Combinator startup accelerator and have been covered in businessinsider.com, thehustle.co, and protocol.com.
